Requirements

​1- The presence of those who wish to marry and the guardian of the wife

2- Two witnesses​


Required documents

​1- Letter from the Public Institute for Social Security if the husband was a student, unemployed, a businessman or retired and if the husband was a soldier then he has to submit a permission to marry issued from the employer

2- Inheritance Inventory if the guardian is deceased - divorce pronouncement for the divorced wife and a limitation of succession for the widowed wife with a Special Agency - Civil ID or citizenship for Kuwaitis

3- Civil ID or passport for residents - Executive committee letter and an identification regarding illegal residents 

4- Prenuptial examinations certificate from the Ministry of Health for Kuwaitis

5- Certificate from the embassy of Saudi Arabia or Bahrain (permission to marry) for a Saudi or a Bahraini - Certificate from the embassy of Oman for an Omani willing to marry a non-Khaleeji, and a certificate from the embassy of Turkey if the husband was from a Turkish nationality​
