Requirements
1- If the property is encumbered, the debtor has to attach a letter of agreement to transfer the property
2- If the sale or purchase is from a minor or the interdicted, attach a letter from the Public Authority for Minor Affairs. If they were under its custody or guardianship provisions then a permission from a legal guardian to deal with selling, purchasing etc.
3- A guardian cannot act upon a minors' property if the price exceeded 200 thousand KWD except with a court permission
4- Provide the data of the corporation if one of the parties is a corporation or any other legal personality
5- If there was a mortgage enforcement, no disposition is permitted
Required documents
1- Original document
2- Certificate of description and an assessment letter from the Municipality (request submitted online)
3- Civil ID copies of the people of interest or their attorney's
4- Attendance of the people of interest (seller and buyer) or their attorney's to sign on the forms and the final sales contract
Fee
25% for selling the absolute ownership of the property, 5 KWD for usufruct
Used Forms
- First module: contractor's approval and pledge
- Second module: sales and sales of common receivables
- Ninth module: cost approval
